Cardiac Stress Lab Technician

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday (M-F) for stress testing, with cardiac rehab sessions on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday after stress testing.

Job Description

The Cardiac Stress Lab Technician will be responsible for conducting various types of stress tests, including Stress Echo, Dobutamine Stress, and nuclear stress testing. The role includes working with patients during stress testing procedures and providing rehabilitation support to cardiac patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor cardiac stress tests.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during testing.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment used in stress testing.
• Document patient data and test results in the electronic health record system.
• Provide education and support to patients undergoing cardiac rehabilitation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in stress testing procedures and EKG interpretation.
• Knowledge of cardiac rehabilitation practices preferred.
