Process Engineer (Food Manufacturing)

Reporting to the Plant Manager at our Rensselaer, IN manufacturing facility, you will be a key driver of innovation and continuous improvement. You will lead Daily Management Systems (DMS), boost equipment reliability, and inspire a culture of digital transformation. Your role will combine hands-on problem-solving with data-driven decision-making, empowering teams and collaborating across functions to make a lasting impact. A Taste of Your Responsibilities - Take ownership of Daily Management Systems (DMS) and set the standard for operational excellence
- Partner with maintenance and engineering to improve reliability processes of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Build team capabilities and share knowledge to strengthen technical understanding
- Champion digital tools and lead the charge in technological transformation
- Dive into KPIs to uncover opportunities and prioritize impactful improvements
- Facilitate structured problem-solving sessions and guide small teams to success
- Manage projects independently using Conagra Performance System (CPS) tools
- Partner with Operations, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to deliver results
- Lead capital projects that shape the future of the Business Unit
- Skilled in Microsoft applications (PowerBI, PowerApps, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with food manufacturing systems and equipment
- 3+ years of experience in process engineering or related field
- 1+ year experience influencing or leading teams and driving accountability

Compensation Pay Range:$64,000-$95,000 The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
