About the Position

Anesthesiologist

Location: GA

Schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation; day shift 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM; call hours 3:00 PM - 7:00 AM; call response time within 20 minutes

Position Overview

Provide anesthesiology coverage, including supervision and performing cases as needed. Surgical call is expected every day while working.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services across multiple specialties
• Provide call coverage and respond within 20 minutes during call hours
• Demonstrate proficiency in spinals, epidurals, and regional nerve blocks
• Document cases using Medaxion

Clinical Scope Highlights

• Case types may include endoscopy, OB/GYN, pediatrics, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, and orthopedics
• 5 operating rooms
• Coverage model includes 1 MD and 3 CRNAs during the day

Required Qualifications

• MD/DO
• Active, unrestricted Georgia medical license
• DEA required
• BLS, NRP, PALS, and ACLS through AHA (no exceptions)
• Case logs required (proof of epidurals, spinals, and blocks)
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

• Credentialing timeframe: 45 - 60 days
