Traveling Nuclear Medicine Tech

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radioactive drugs, operate radiation detection and imaging equipment, troubleshoot image processing and PACS issues, participate in QA, and support efficient patient throughput. The role requires adherence to radiation safety protocols, accurate documentation of logs and tests, and participation in ongoing education and competency maintenance. Flexibility to work other shifts and at other campuses as needed is expected.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
• Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) certification by ARRT or NMTCB required.
• Texas state licensure required (MRT by TMB).
• BLS required (AHA only).
• Basic computer experience required.
• Experience in a clinical nuclear medicine setting preferred (1 year preferred).
• Ability to follow PACS downtime procedures and act as PACS superuser when needed.
• Ability to maintain radiation safety when handling radionuclides and pharmaceuticals.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of clinical nuclear medicine experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and coordinating with biomedical personnel preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 07:00 - 15:00.
• May work extended hours (until 17:00) based on census and caseload.
• Weekend coverage as needed; no weekday call required except as noted.
• Float required to other campuses based on staff and census.
