OPTOMETRY TECHNICIAN

Clarkston Optometry | Inside Costco Clarkston, WA | Wed–Sat, 10am–6pm

WHO WE ARE

We’re an independent optometry practice opening inside the Clarkston Costco — and we’re

building it differently. We take time with our patients. We listen, we educate, and we treat every

person who walks in like a neighbor, because they are. Our doctors see patients both in person

and through telehealth, and our technicians are the heart of how it all works.

We’re looking for people we can train, invest in, and keep for the long haul. When our team

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You’re the first face our patients see and the hands that keep the practice running. Day to day,

you’ll:

- Welcome patients and handle intake with warmth and care

- Run preliminary testing — visual acuity, tonometry, retinal imaging, visual fields (we’ll train you)

- Prep and support telehealth visits: getting patients set up, coordinating with the doctor, making

the virtual experience feel personal

- Keep records accurate, schedules organized, and follow-ups on track

- Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and ready

- Answer patient questions and help them feel taken care of, start to finish

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You don’t need optometry experience — we’ll teach you the clinical side. What we can’t teach:

- Genuine care for people

- Attention to detail and willingness to learn

- Reliability your teammates can count on

- Comfort with technology (we use electronic health records and telehealth tools)

If you’ve worked in healthcare, retail, hospitality, or anywhere that demands real customer care,

you may be exactly who we need. Prior optometry or medical experience is a plus and pays at

the top of our range.

WHAT WE OFFER

- $21–26/hour, based on experience

- Full-time and part-time positions (Wed–Sat, 10am–6pm)- Health insurance — 60% employer-paid family coverage for staff working 30/wk up to

$1,300/mo.

- 8 flexible PTO/yr (after 90 days of employment)
