Quality Test Engineer 2

We are seeking a Quality Test Engineer 2 to support the testing, validation, and quality assurance of products, equipment, systems, and processes. This role will be responsible for developing and executing test activities, identifying quality issues, analyzing results, and ensuring products and processes meet established quality standards and specifications.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical documentation and engineering specifications.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test procedures, and quality validation activities.

• Research, test, and evaluate the design, functionality, performance, and reliability of products, equipment, systems, and processes.

• Identify defects, quality issues, and potential process improvements.

• Analyze test results and prepare clear technical reports and documentation.

• Ensure products and processes meet defined quality standards, specifications, and requirements.

• Review engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation.

• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.

• Support root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive action activities.

• Maintain accurate test records, quality documentation, and reports.

• Identify opportunities to improve testing methods, product quality, and operational efficiency.

• Use engineering software and computer applications to support testing, analysis, and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, testing, or a related engineering discipline .

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

• Ability to read and interpret:

  • Blueprints

  • Engineering drawings

  • Technical specifications

  • Schematics

  • Computer-generated reports

• Familiarity with engineering and quality processes, standards, and testing methodologies.

• Experience with computer applications and engineering-related software.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) or similar engineering software.

• Experience developing or executing test plans and procedures.

• Knowledge of quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Experience with root-cause analysis and corrective action processes.

• Familiarity with manufacturing, engineering, or product development environments.
