Job Summary:
Xray Technologist position available in Omaha, Nebraska. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including fluoroscopy, portable X-Rays, and C-Arm procedures in both emergency and diagnostic department settings. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position requires a self-starter with strong team skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.

Job Details:

• Shift: Rotating, 10 hours per shift, from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with one weekend every four weeks and 12 hours of call per month.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years in a clinical setting with trauma experience preferred. Certifications include ARRT (Registered Technologist), BLS (Basic Life Support), and Nebraska license. Experience in emergency and diagnostic imaging, proficiency in trauma, portable X-Rays, fluoroscopy, and C-Arm procedures are required.
• Additional Qualifications: Must be willing to float between emergency department and diagnostic department.
• Additional Information: 12 hours of non-billable orientation, a call-off policy allowing up to 36 hours every 13 weeks, and a 100-mile radius restriction preventing local candidates.
• Responsibilities: Perform fluoroscopy, diagnostic X-Rays on inpatients and emergency patients, portable X-Rays on patient floors, and C-Arm procedures in the operating room. Responsible for a portion of portable X-Ray coverage on floors, with no support staff except those on floors.
• Dress Code: Red scrubs, with hospital-provided scrubs for surgery.
• Training: Includes departmental on-the-job training and scheduled orientation starting with NEO protocols.
• Additional Notes: Typically handles 20-25 patients per shift. The candidate must be adaptable and able to manage changing clinical situations.
