Supervising branch retail staff and providing input on different committees as needed throughout the year is required. This position must assist customers in providing detailed knowledge of bank products and services, articulate the benefits and conditions of these services and cross sell products to new and current clients as needed.Leadership and ManagementSupervise, lead, mentor, and develop branch staff to achieve performance goals and provide exceptional customer serviceLead weekly huddles and monthly meetings with your staff to discuss sales opportunities, goals, and operational issuesCustomer ServiceEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting a customer-centric cultureExpand and retain bank customer relationships and solicit new relationships from prospective customersFinancial ManagementOversee branch financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense managementEnsure profitability and cost-effectivenessEnsure the branch consistently meets its financial targetsDevelop and implement strategies to help grow depositsCompliance and Risk ManagementEnsure branch operations comply with all banking regulations, policies, and proceduresManage risk effectively and ensure the security of branch assetsOperational EfficiencyStreamline branch operations to improve efficiency and productivityImplement best practices and continuous improvement initiativesReview and provide reports to managementCommunity EngagementRepresent the bank as a dedicated community partner by building strong relationships with key stakeholders and actively participating in local events and activitiesPresent financial literacy programs to educate clients and the broader community on effective financial management, fostering a sense of financial empowerment and community well-beingParticipate in any sales activities as directed by the Regional Branch ManagerCollaborationWork closely with other departments, including treasury management, mortgage officers, commercial lenders and marketing teams, to ensure seamless service delivery and achieve business objectivesMarket AnalysisMonitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threatsProvide insights and recommendations to senior managementFinancial AnalysisAssess the financial needs of clients and recommend suitable banking products and services, emphasizing the importance of personalized service tailored to each client's unique circumstancesDemonstrate a deep understanding of their financial goals and provide customized solutions that inspire confidence and trustAdditionally, assist in preparing financial proposals and presentations for clients as needed* The company reserves the right to modify duties and responsibilities over time as needed.RequirementsMinimum QualificationsMust have a high school diplomaMust have 2 years of people leadership/management experienceAble to build and maintain relationships within the business community including participation with community organizations and community projectsPreferred Qualifications3-5 years of experience in bankingSkillsGood sales and computer skills, and a proven ability to develop business opportunities are necessaryShould be analytically minded and possess good judgmentAbility to manage branch-banking personnel engaged in retail operations to achieve profit, growth and customer service objectives within bank policy guidelinesMust demonstrate management, communication, and interpersonal skillsHighly skilled in Microsoft Office SuiteWork EnvironmentPrimarily office or branch-based environment with standard business hours.
