Marlboro Village Veterinary Hospital is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Veterinary Client Care Specialist & Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team. This is a unique flex role designed for an individual who enjoys both client interaction and hands-on patient care. Team members in this position provide exceptional customer service at the front desk while also assisting veterinarians and technicians with patient care as needed.

We are a unique, full-service veterinary practice dedicated to providing exceptional medical care and outstanding client service for small animals and exotics. Our hospital offers traditional and preventative medicine, Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, Doggie Daycare, and Overnight Boarding.

We pride ourselves on creating a supportive, team-oriented environment where every staff member plays an important role in improving the health and well-being of our patients and clients.

Schedule Requirements

This is a flexible position requiring availability for:

• Monday through Sunday shifts

• Alternating morning and afternoon schedules

• Rotating Saturdays

• Rotating holidays

• Occasional additional coverage as needed

• Ability to work at both our Marlboro and Aberdeen locations

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Compassionate, positive, and professional attitude

• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities

• Reliable, mature-minded, and team-oriented

• Comfortable working with animals and handling pets safely

• Familiarity with computers and veterinary software preferred

• Previous veterinary, animal care, customer service, or medical office experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
