Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
The Cath Lab Tech is responsible for assisting in cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures within a short-term acute care setting. The role involves supporting complex cardiac procedures while adhering to patient safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and troubleshoot cath lab equipment, including MacLab, Xper, and Cerner systems.
• Assist physicians during EP, Structural Heart, and catheterization procedures.
• Monitor patient conditions and ensure proper preparation and post-procedure care.
• Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety.
• Document procedures accurately in Cerner and other designated charting systems.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid ARRT certification and current BLS and ACLS licensure.
• Two or more years of recent cath lab or interventional cardiology experience.
• Proven proficiency with EP procedures, Structural Heart, and MacLab systems.
• Ability to float within different hospital units as needed.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
