Contract Manager

Strong EPC Contract Experience (Most Important) Experience drafting, negotiating, and administering large EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) contracts. Ability to perform risk analysis, indemnity reviews, liability assessments, change orders, and contract execution support. Large Construction Project Experience Candidates who have supported major projects, infrastructure projects, industrial construction, power generation, utilities, oil & gas facilities, pipelines, or similar environments. Contract Management Background Around 10+ years of progressive contract management/contract analyst experience . Comfortable handling contract lifecycle management from drafting through execution and closeout. Nice-to-Have Power Industry Experience Preferred but not mandatory. HM specifically stated she would prioritize EPC experience over power experience if she had to choose. Valuable, especially if tied to construction projects and EPC contracting. Personality & Soft Skills (Extremely Important) HM repeatedly emphasized that fit is as important as technical experience. Humble and coachable. Comfortable interacting with project teams, executives, procurement, legal, and field personnel. Able to represent leadership independently in meetings. Candidates to Avoid ? Attorneys/JD candidates HM specifically said she already has enough lawyers and will likely not prioritize JD candidates. ? Highly technical engineers with little contract experience She is not primarily looking for engineering expertise.
