Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) with rotation between day and mid shifts (7a-7p and 10a-10p).

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in the emergency department. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment and exhibit strong critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assess and triage patients effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and manage medical equipment as needed.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in Ohio or a compact state license at the time of submission.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications in hand.
• TNCC certification preferred.
• 1 year of combined permanent experience in the emergency department.
• Reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director within the specialty applied for.
