The Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties including packing/shipping, receiving/processing incoming stock and materials, unloading and loading trucks, organizing, land retrieving stock and making sure the work environment is clean. The Associate is also responsible for the data entry and inventory of all stock and for ensuring the warehouse is running smoothly and all inventory is where it needs to be.Responsibilities:Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouseReceive and unload equipment and parts, unpack and shelvePack, wrap, label, and/or ship parts and equipmentPick up parts/equipment from local suppliersMust be able to safely operate forklifts, delivery trucks and lifting equipmentAssist as needed with refurbishing of the ice machinesContribute to team effort by performing other duties as assignedQualifications:Six months previous warehouse experience, preferredForklift certification, preferredMust have reliable transportation and a valid driver's licenseUnrestricted right to work in the United States, requiredWorking knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and multi-line phone systemsA self-motivated and disciplined individual who will work well independently and as a team memberDesire to learn more about warehouse operations and basic operating and maintenance of ice machinesClear and professional communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skillsGood planning and time management skillsKeen attention to detailWilling to assume a variety of tasksThe employee is often required to stand; walk; sit; use ladders; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel surfaces, parts and materials; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlStands for extended periods of timeLift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move objects of a greater weightAbility to work in conditions that may include extreme temperaturesEducation:High school diploma or equivalent, requiredBenefits :Excellent Medical/Dental/Vision/Group Life401k Company MatchPTO and Holiday PayFitness Membership ReimbursementProvide all Tools needed to complete the jobThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to this classification.
