We are seeking an experienced Logistics Dispatcher to coordinate daily shipments, delivery routes, drivers, vehicles, and equipment in a fast-paced industrial warehouse environment. This position will be responsible for planning and adjusting delivery routes, coordinating transportation activities, communicating with drivers, customers, sales, and supervisors, and ensuring shipments are picked up and delivered safely and on time. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of dispatching or logistics experience , preferably with LTL freight , and strong communication, organizational, computer, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch drivers, vehicles, equipment, and shipments according to daily schedules and customer requirements.
• Plan and calculate efficient delivery routes and make adjustments as needed.
• Coordinate safe and timely pickup and delivery of shipments.
• Work with LTL freight carriers and transportation providers to coordinate shipments.
• Communicate with drivers, customers, sales, supervisors, and warehouse personnel regarding deliveries and scheduling.
• Prepare daily schedules, work orders, shipping information, and dispatch documentation.
• Track shipment status and communicate delivery updates or changes.
• Resolve scheduling, delivery, and transportation issues quickly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of work requests, customer requests, completed deliveries, expenses, and related information.
• Use Microsoft Office, Outlook, phones, and other communication or logistics systems to coordinate daily operations.
• Follow applicable DOT requirements and company safety procedures.
• Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
