7am-3:30pm weekdays

Under the direction of the General Manager this position repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment, heating systems, plumbing, systems, electrical systems, pneumatic tools, welding equipment, power material moving equipment and all other equipment used in the manufacturing process. Must have experience doing maintenance of CNC machines.

Responsibilities

• Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble
• Follow proper lock out/tag out procedures
• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts
• Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections
• Adjust functional part of devices and control instruments
• Lubricates and clean parts
• Starts machines to test their performance
• Sets up and operates metal working tools and machines to make and repair parts

Qualifications

• Experience doing maintenance of CNC machines.
• One to two years related maintenance experience and/or training.
• Ability to read a tape measurer
• Ability to work overtime
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
