About the Position

Shift

Night Shift — 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
3 days per week (36 hrs/week)
Weekends: 4 shifts per 6‑week schedule
On‑call: 1 shift per pay period

Responsibilities

• Provide competent bedside nursing care to post‑op surgical patients.
• Perform patient assessment , identify priorities, and update care plans.
• Deliver safe care following nursing standards, policies & procedures .
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care .
• Educate patients and families using appropriate materials.
• Manage complex patient needs and escalate when needed.
• Participate in unit goals, quality improvement, and collaboration .
• Maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment for patients.

Requirements

✅ Requirements

Education

Required:

• Nursing Diploma OR
• ADN / ASN from an accredited School of Nursing

Preferred:

• BSN or MSN from an accredited School of Nursing

Experience

Required:

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience

Certifications & Licensure

Required:

• Active RN License – State of North Carolina
• BLS – Basic Life Support (AHA or ARC)
• NIHSS (per compliance section)
• CPI-A (per compliance section)
