Data Protection Solution Architect

Location: ON-SITE in Brooklyn, NY, occasional trips to Bronx location

Duration: Approximate 12-month residency

Customer currently has Avamar and will refresh backup solution to an IDPA solution. Must be well-versed with IDPA, and PowerMax experience is nice-to-have.

The customer is new to the IDPA solution and the resident will be responsible for the following project tasks:

• Day to day backup operational activities
• Conducts knowledge transfer for new technology features, management and admin activities, and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Sets up initial reports
• Reviews IT processes and policies (Incident, capacity, performance and change management, user, and back up policy) - as part of the new IDPA solution
• Conducts knowledge transfer to address the Customer's skills and resource gaps as well as technology recommendations.
• Monitors, reviews, and manage backup environment
• Share best practice methodologies throughout the residency assignment
• Resident is expected to be self-directed, able to accomplish tasks with little to no direction while always following best practice methodology throughout the assignment
