Title
Registered Nurse - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Schedule
- Patient ratio: 1:6 (days/nights/weekends)
- Weekend requirement: 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period (combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday)

Assignment Details
- Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks

Requirements
- License: RN
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years RN experience
- EMR system: EPIC (EPIC experience required; test-out option available)
- Core clinical skills: Acute inpatient rehab care, EKGs, phlebotomy, IV management, tracheostomy care, blood product administration, mobility and transfer techniques

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding health maintenance and rehabilitation processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 24 hours
- RTO (Request Time Off) restriction: Maximum 7 days
- Documentation deadline: Required documents due 2 Fridays before the start date
- Pre-start modules: 10-15 hours; due by Monday one week prior to start
- Skills training deadlines: Infusion pump and glucometer training must be completed by the Sunday prior to start
