5 DAYS AGO Full Time About the Opportunity Job Title: Manufacturing Associate Pay Rate: $21.00/hr Location: Lester Prairie, MN Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM Overtime Required: Friday 6:00AM-2:30PM. Position Type: Temp to Hire Requirements and Qualifications Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively for 8-10 hours a day. Ability to frequent standing/walking /stooping/turning while carrying materials. Ability to operate a forklift is preferred. 1 year working in a manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to read a tape measure required. Good organizational skills. Good communication skills. Detail oriented. Ability to operate a computer is a plus. Must be a team player. Duties and Responsibilities Assemble Trusses and Gables using hammer and tape measure. Operate Radial Arm Saw. Manually stack wood as it comes off the machine. Assist with finger joiner-tape measure and stack. Properly package and handle incoming/outgoing orders. Responsible for performing daily cycle counts of various types of inventory. Tracking past due backorders verses incoming material. Unload material and handle material from truck with forklift as needed and required. Work in other areas of the plant as business allows. Keeping area clean. Other duties as assigned.
