With an environment that encourages and assists each person in developing to their highest potential, a career at A-dec is incredibly rewarding.## OverviewThe Assembler II performs both routine and semi-routine assembly tasks which include sub-assemblies, assembling some final products, packaging, water spider, and checks parts for quality and function.**JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Performs routine assembly tasks, working independently with the aid of standard work assembly drawings (SWADs), such as: + Assembles electrical and mechanical components and any additional routine sub-assemblies. + Packages products while maintaining quality and productivity standards. + Water Spider (inventory movement support): facilitates workflow, including stocking bins, pallets, cardboard, and general material handling. + Builds final product. Works with area manufacturing engineers (ME’s)* Frequently operates tools/equipment such as hand tools, pneumatics tools, testing equipment, fixtures, and high voltage dielectric testing while using required personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety guidelines.* Routinely follows work and test instructions to perform tasks. May be required to interpret the results of certain tests and at times may troubleshoot and repair assemblies as necessary.* Achieves and maintains established safety, quality, and productivity standards.
