Experience with welding (MIG, TIG, etc), heavy machining, precision hydraulic assembly, mechanical and electromechanical assembly and product acceptance testing preferred. Daily duties may include performing design, fabrication, modification and/or evaluation of manufacturing operations. May prepare manufacturing plans, create and maintain manufacturing bill of materials, and create and maintain process instruction set. May also conduct support studies and provide analysis or tests in the development of manufacturing operations. May assign work to technical writers and/or technicians. Position will be Involved with the design, development, modification and analysis of products. Troubleshoot and diagnoses problems with existing products and makes modifications and improvements as needed. Compile and evaluate product design and test data. Evaluate and recommend design approaches to meet production requirements for new or improved products.
