Senior Cloud Engineer - AWS & Azure

Key Responsibilities Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS and Azure environments. Partner with architecture and engineering teams to develop vendor-agnostic cloud strategies and deployment frameworks. Build and enhance Infrastructure as Code (IaC) , automation, and CI/CD deployment processes to improve speed, reliability, and scalability. Lead efforts around environment setup, standardization, and configuration management across development, testing, and production environments. Establish and enforce cloud governance policies, security controls, and operational best practices. Evaluate existing cloud environments and identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and cost efficiency. Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure cloud solutions align with business and technical requirements. Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and provide guidance on architecture and implementation decisions. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall cloud engineering strategy and roadmap. Stay current on emerging cloud technologies, tools, and industry best practices. Required Qualifications 7–10+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related field. Advanced hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms . Strong experience designing and implementing cloud architecture solutions in enterprise environments. Proven experience automating infrastructure deployments and operational processes. Strong understanding of cloud governance, security, compliance, and operational best practices. Experience developing scalable, reliable, and highly available cloud solutions. Ability to evaluate challenges and develop innovative, practical solutions. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence technical decisions across teams. Preferred Qualifications AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or similar). Experience within Financial Services, Banking, Payments, or FinTech environments. Exposure to multi-cloud strategy, cloud migration initiatives, or platform engineering practices.
