Responsibilities:

• Translate manufacturing requirements and sales/pricing rules into precise system logic using the CIS Configurator for a diverse range of SKUs and entry door products.
• Develop and maintain advanced configuration models, dimensional and handing logic, and dependency rules for components, pricing structures, and compatibility mapping.
• Oversee item masters and multi-level Bills of Materials (BOMs) in SAP Business One, ensuring execution layer data integrity and “single source of truth” for production and procurement processes.
• Define operation sequences, maintain standard routing data, and ensure detailed scheduling for on-time delivery within MES and APS systems (LYNQ, WiSys).
• Lead system validation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and proactively audit order-to-cash process flows to guarantee error-free production.
• Extract legacy knowledge from legacy systems (AS/400 Friedman), translating manual processes into standardized, automated solutions for SAP B1 and CIS.
• Utilize SQL and advanced Excel for margin validation, root-cause analysis, and ongoing auditing of production schedule accuracy.
• Support, monitor, and troubleshoot EDI and API-based integrations connecting core platforms (ERP, MES, WMS), and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for configuration logic.

Must-Have Skills:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing systems, with emphasis on product structures, multi-level Bills of Materials (BOMs), and routings.
• Hands-on expertise with CIS Configurator or similar rules-based CPQ software, and proficiency in SAP Business One ERP.
• Strong SQL skills for data modeling, technical troubleshooting, and cross-platform integration.
• Advanced Excel skills for auditing and margin analysis.
• Proven ability to translate manufacturing and sales requirements into system logic and configuration models.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a “zero-error” approach to data entry and systems maintenance.
• Effective communicator with experience bridging Sales, Engineering, and Shop-Floor Operations.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience supporting or monitoring EDI, API-based integrations, or middleware between ERP and MES systems.
• Familiarity with the AS/400 Friedman system or legacy-to-modern system migration projects.
• Direct experience configuring, maintaining, or integrating LYNQ MES and WiSys WMS platforms.
• Background in documenting technical knowledge and developing SOPs for complex manufacturing rules.
• Exposure to discrete manufacturing environments involving highly customizable or configured-to-order products.
