CHSS Student Worker EPIC Lab (FWS-CSLP)

Primary Responsibilities Assist in weekly cage cleaning. Weigh rats weekly and maintain weight log. Be present for testing sessions Monday–Saturday, 11:00 – 3:00 as needed. Maintain testing log and video database. Be present for weekly meet ups with vivarium leadership team. Be present for weekly lab meeting with the entire team. Monitor and communicate with vivarium coordinator regarding PPE, food, and bedding orders. Use equipment responsibly. Requirements Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient typing skills. Comfortable working in a professional environment with all levels of staff and faculty. Service oriented. Comfortable with GCU’s campus and departments to direct guests, students, and staff. Prior computer knowledge; able to copy, scan and fax documents. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Self-motivated with a desire to learn and serve.
