Role Description The Assistant Manager role at Jared Jewelers in Lakewood, CO is a full-time, on-site position responsible for supporting daily store operations and ensuring a high level of customer service. This role assists the Store Manager in leading and coaching team members, driving sales performance, and maintaining visual merchandising and store standards. Day-to-day tasks include engaging with customers, providing product knowledge and recommendations, overseeing opening and closing procedures, and monitoring inventory and loss prevention practices. The Assistant Manager collaborates on scheduling, training, and performance feedback, while helping to implement company promotions and initiatives. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong retail sales and customer service skills, with the ability to build relationships, understand customer needs, and provide tailored product recommendations. Candidates should possess operational and organizational skills, such as managing daily store processes, handling cash and transactions accurately, monitoring inventory, and maintaining store appearance. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, retail management, or related fields is an asset.
