Back Stock Associate

Back Stock Associate Job Description Once Upon A Child is a locally owned resale retail store that buys and sells gently used kids clothing, shoes, toys, books, furniture, baby equipment and more. The Back Stock Associate is responsible for receiving, organizing, processing, and maintaining inventory. This role ensures merchandise is properly sorted, tagged, stored, and replenished to the sales floor while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Key Responsibilities: Organize and maintain back stock inventory by category, size, season, and condition. Restock sales floor merchandise and replenish inventory throughout the day. Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and seasonal merchandise changes. Keep stockroom areas clean, organized, and free of hazards. Assist customers and team members with inventory-related questions when needed. Support store operations, special sales events, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications : Previous retail, stockroom, warehouse, or resale experience is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math and computer skills preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds regularly. Ability to push, pull, and move merchandise carts and storage bins.
