Job Description:

Works under the direction of a unit coordinator/staff nurse/department director of assigned unit along with house supervisor. Participates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, within the objectives, standards, and policies of the department and within the parameters of his or her preparation. Cooperates with the members of the nursing and medical staffs and other hospital departments.

Required Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered with Kentucky Board of Nursing or compact states
• BLS certification maintained.

Minimum Education:

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program

Minimum Work Experience:

• Minimum of six (6) months' recent experience as a professional nurse preferred but not required

Screening Requirements:

• Drug Screen

• Background Check
• Physical Exam
• Respirator Fit
