Business/Data Analyst Location: Washington, DC Metro Area (Hybrid 4 Days Onsite per Week) Duration: 6+ month Interview Process Virtual interview. 1 2 interview rounds , depending on scheduling and client requirements. Important Candidate Requirements Experience Required: Approximately 7+ Years Local candidates to the DC Metro area only. LinkedIn with location (before 2022) Candidates must demonstrate strong data/SQL experience . Financial/investment domain experience is highly preferred. Experience with Azure data warehouse projects and concepts is required. Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Business/Data Analyst with strong data analysis capabilities and experience in the financial and investment domains . The ideal candidate will have approximately 7+ years of experience working in business and data analysis roles, with strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of modern data warehouse concepts. Candidates should have experience working with Azure Data Warehouse/cloud data environments and be comfortable collaborating with technical and business stakeholders. This role is best suited for a strong BA/DA who combines business analysis expertise with hands‑on data and analytical skills. Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, or a combination of both. Strong experience within the financial services and/or investment domain . Strong proficiency in SQL . Solid understanding of modern data warehouse concepts and implementations . Experience working with or supporting Azure Data Warehouse/Azure cloud data projects . Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work with large or complex datasets and derive meaningful insights. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders. Ability to work 4 days per week onsite in the DC Metro area . Must be local to the DC Metro area . Qualifications Experience working in SAFe and/or Agile environments. Experience supporting cloud‑based data transformation or data warehouse initiatives.
