Maintenance Technician

New Tech Global is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support production and manufacturing operations within a fast-paced chemical processing environment. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and supporting production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safe and efficient operations throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with pumps, motors, valves, mechanical systems, and industrial production equipment within manufacturing, chemical, industrial, or processing environments. Candidates must demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production equipment and facility systems
• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on pumps, motors, valves, conveyors, hoses, and related equipment
• Diagnose mechanical equipment failures and support rapid equipment recovery to minimize production downtime
• Assist with installation, replacement, and alignment of motors, pumps, and mechanical components
• Support maintenance of piping systems, fittings, and valves throughout the production process
• Inspect equipment and identify potential mechanical or operational issues before failures occur
• Respond quickly to maintenance calls and production issues with a strong sense of urgency
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively
• Work closely with production supervisors and operators to support operational efficiency
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment concerns to leadership
• Follow all plant safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental guidelines
• Assist with general facility maintenance and additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
• Previous maintenance experience in manufacturing, chemical, industrial, production, or processing environments preferred
• Experience working with pumps, motors, valves, hoses, and mechanical systems required
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment with minimal supervision
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize production-critical repairs
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials or equipment as needed
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or rotating schedules as required

Work Environment
