Senior Network Engineer (SME)

Certification: DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II or Above REQUIRED Position Overview GES is seeking a Senior Network Engineer (SME) to lead the design, implementation, and sustainment of secure enterprise network infrastructure supporting Pentagon operations. Key Responsibilities

Certification: DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II or Above REQUIRED Position Overview GES is seeking a Senior Network Engineer (SME) to lead the design, implementation, and sustainment of secure enterprise network infrastructure supporting Pentagon operations. Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, and Stratix network devices
- Develop network architecture diagrams and implementation plans
- Support LAN, WLAN, and SDN environments
- Perform network monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization
- Support SAN and virtualization integration
- Automate network tasks using scripting
- Maintain DoD STIG compliance and cybersecurity posture
- Utilize ACAS and support RMF processes
- Provide technical leadership and engineering oversight
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of network engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, subnetting
- Experience in DoD network environments and compliance standards
