[ • EPIC electronic charting system Type of Opportunity: Full time FTE: 0.90 Job Exempt: No Work Shift: Evenings (United States of America) Responsibilities: * Provide direct patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation using the nursing process. * Prioritize and coordinate patient care in collaboration with patients, families, providers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team. * Perform and document patient assessments, administer medications and treatments, and implement evidence-based protocols and standards of care. * Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and facilitate patient/family education and discharge planning. * Respond effectively to emergency situations and assist with diagnostic, therapeutic, and procedural interventions. * Delegate and supervise patient care activities in accordance with staff competencies and scope of practice. * Serve as a clinical resource, mentor, and professional role model for team members, new hires, and students. * Maintain required competencies, certifications, licensure, and continuing education while adhering to organizational policies and safety standards. * Participate in quality improvement initiatives, shared governance, and departmental activities that support exceptional patient care. * Perform other duties as assigned. • Associate Degree in Nursing
• State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
• 1 year of emergency department or 18 months of ICU experience preferred
• BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire
• ACLS & PALS required
