Role Description This full‑time Registered Nurse role is an on‑site position located in Des Moines, Iowa. The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care, including rooming patients, obtaining medical histories and vital signs, and assisting with allergy testing and immunotherapy injections. Daily responsibilities include administering medications and treatments as ordered, monitoring patients for adverse reactions, and documenting care accurately in the medical record. The nurse will provide patient and family education on allergy management, medication use, and follow‑up care, and will coordinate with providers and other clinical staff to support efficient patient flow. Additional duties may include triaging patient calls, supporting quality and safety initiatives, and maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment. Qualifications Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa. Experience in outpatient, allergy/immunology, pediatrics, or related clinical settings is preferred. Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to recognize and respond to allergic reactions and other urgent situations. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, adults, families, and a multidisciplinary team. Ability to provide clear patient education, maintain accurate documentation, and follow clinical protocols and safety standards. Comfort with electronic health records and basic computer applications.
