Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit

Schedule: Nights; 36 guaranteed hours (3x12s). Weekend requirement: 2 shifts every other weekend.

Assignment Details: Patient population: Adults, including telemetry and stroke patients. Unit size: ~27 daily census.

Requirements:

• 2 years RN experience required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, NIHSS.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition.
• Skills: Peripheral line care, non-invasive airway support, oxygen delivery, isolation precautions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the progressive care unit.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.

Compliance / Notes: Orientation: 38 hours. Parking details will be provided. Fit testing required; must be able to pass without facial hair that prevents testing.
