Senior IT Systems Analyst
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and extensive experience with integration, mainframe systems, and various technologies including IDM, ETL, Z platforms, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and integrate complex IT systems to ensure seamless operation and data flow across various platforms.
- Serve as a technical expert and provide comprehensive system analysis, design, and support for mainframe and distributed systems.
- Develop and maintain Identity Management (IDM) solutions to ensure secure access and compliance.
- Design, develop, and manage Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes for efficient data migration and integration.
- Provide technical expertise in managing and maintaining Z platforms and VM databases.
- Utilize COBOL and Natural programming languages for system development and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs.
- Conduct system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Document system specifications, configurations, and changes to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and technical issues.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology to ensure the organization remains competitive and innovative.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Systems Analyst, Integration Analyst, or similar role.
- Extensive experience with mainframe systems, including Z platforms and VM databases.
- Proficiency in COBOL and Natural programming languages.
- Strong knowledge of Identity Management (IDM) and ETL processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- US citizenship or permanent residency is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a related field.
- Professional certifications in relevant technologies.
- Experience with additional programming languages and database management systems.
- Prior experience in a similar industry or sector.
