CT Technologist - Radiology

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join the Radiology department at SBSH. The role involves performing CT scans and diagnostic imaging procedures , ensuring high-quality images for physician interpretation while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
CT Technologists are responsible for producing cross-sectional images of the body to assist in diagnosing a wide range of conditions.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures following physician orders
• Prepare and position patients for scans
• Administer contrast media as required
• Operate CT scanners and ensure image quality
• Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records (PACS)
• Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
• Assist radiologists with diagnostic interpretation support

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of CT Tech experience
• ARRT Certification (Radiography + CT preferred)
• New York State Radiologic Technologist License
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• Experience with contrast injections

NY license + ARRT are standard requirements for radiology roles at SBSH
