Radiology Technologist

We are seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist to support an Orthopedic provider in a busy outpatient clinic setting. This position will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to safety standards. The technologist will primarily work in Albany, OR, with one day per week at a nearby Corvallis location.

Location: Albany & Corvallis, OR
Contract Duration: Minimum 3-month+ temp/contract role (possible extension and/or temp-hire)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Contract/Temporary

Hourly pay rate: $ 55.92/hr.


Work Locations

• Monday - Thursday: 1705 Waverly Drive SE, Albany, OR 97322
• Friday: 3680 NW Samaritan Drive, Corvallis, OR 97330

The two clinic locations are approximately 15 minutes apart. Employees will work at only one location per day and will not travel between sites during a shift.


Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations as ordered by orthopedic providers.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by explaining exams and positioning patients appropriately.
• Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and infection control protocols.
• Review images for quality and completeness before submission to providers.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the electronic medical record system.
• Assist providers in supporting efficient clinic workflow and patient care.
• Maintain radiology equipment and report any operational concerns.
• Deliver professional, compassionate care while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.

Qualifications

Required

• Current Oregon OBMI License.
• Active ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
• Experience performing diagnostic X-ray procedures.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.

Preferred

• Previous orthopedic imaging experience.
• Experience working in an outpatient clinic environment.
