Ably Resources is supporting a major international energy project with the appointment of an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its team in Milan, Italy.This is a key engineering role supporting electrical scope across a complex offshore development. The successful candidate will be involved in technical review, vendor package assessment, multidisciplinary coordination, installation support, testing and commissioning activities.Key scope includes:
- Reviewing electrical engineering deliverables and technical documentation
- Supporting electrical systems scope across offshore facilities and associated infrastructure
- Reviewing vendor packages, specifications and technical submissions
- Coordinating interfaces with instrumentation, telecoms, process and wider engineering teams
- Supporting installation, testing and commissioning activities
- Working with contractors, vendors and project stakeholders to maintain technical quality and delivery alignmentCandidate profile:
- Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- 5+ years’ experience in electrical engineering within oil & gas, offshore, EPC or major industrial projects
- Strong experience across electrical systems within complex project environments
- Experience reviewing engineering deliverables, vendor packages and technical specifications
- Testing and commissioning exposure is desirable
