If you're ready to take your career to the next level and gain valuable experience, apply today!ResponsibilitiesTrain and coach all other dental assistants in order to ensure they can perform to their best abilityManage patient flow to maximize the experience for the patient as well as creating an efficient, effective day for the dentistDevelop the dental assistant team through support of learning plans and expansion of individual knowledge with regards to clinical technology and skill setsIntegrate specialty dental assistants into the team effectivelyEnsure patients are escorted to/from the front deskManage infection control, sterilization and disinfection processes for all products, equipment, and patient rooms in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelinesMaintain a clean and sterile workplace creating an atmosphere where your patients feel comfortable assist the doctorsMaintain appropriate and adequate general and specialty clinical supply in the dental practice; while simultaneously remain fiscally responsible by adhering to the established budgetEducate team on basic maintenance, as appropriate and ensure maintenance procedures are performed in a timely mannerQualificationsEquivalent to high school diploma or general education degree (GED), and specified training courses as mandated by state for certification, licensure, or registration as mandated by applicable state (e.g. coronal polish, x-ray exposure, s, pit and fissure sealant application, etc)Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to communicate effectively and present information, both verbally and in writing, to patients and co-workersEffective team builder that can cultivate an environment and promote company cultureMaintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, State Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, FEHA, DOL, HR policies and practices)Ability to direct the work of others and work as a team leader in attainment of goalsAbility to handle and maintain extreme confidentially with employee records, compensation information, etcBenefitsMedical, dental and vision insuranceContinuing Education (CE Units)Paid time offTuition ReimbursementChild care assistance401KPaid time to volunteer in your local communityShift premium pay for eligible roles who work weekendsCompensation Information $26.25-$36.50 / HourlyPDS Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
