New Graduate- Associate Environmental Licensing Specialist

Role Overview At ENERCON, new graduates in the Environmental Licensing Division play a vital role in supporting technical evaluations of potential environmental impacts for nuclear power plants. From day one, you’ll gain hands‑on experience in data collection and analysis to support environmental license applications. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you’ll contribute to environmental licensing strategies, support environmental studies, assess potential environmental impacts, and ensure compliance with NRC and NEPA regulations. You’ll have opportunities to visit sites, conduct field investigations, and collaborate directly with the greater project team. Responsibilities Actively engage in various tasks and responsibilities crucial to the success of our projects. Learn and apply codes and standards for designing projects. Be organized, efficient, and maintain a positive attitude toward learning and feedback. Collaborate with senior engineers and scientists for field data collection. Adapt to new software systems and use available resources to connect classroom knowledge with practical industry work. Meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Skills and Qualifications Graduated with a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an ABET‑accredited school in one of the listed preferred majors. Available to start between May 2026 and August 2026. Graduating May‑June 2026 preferred. Solid working foundation with your major’s core concepts. Proficient in Microsoft Suite. Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills. Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams. Strong problem‑solving skills. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites. Must be able to navigate client sites to conduct walk‑downs. Must be able to work outside. Ability and willingness to travel for client and company projects and/or meetings. Interview & Employment Requirements Completion of pre‑interview assessments. College transcript submitted for anyone under 1 year of experience post‑graduation. Ability to pass pre‑employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client‑specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) checks according to company and client policies.
