Greek Peak Mountain Resort is looking for a motivated and hands-on Grounds Maintenance Technician—or as we like to call it, a Weed Whacker Extraordinaire—to help us keep our resort grounds looking pristine and welcoming year-round.Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.What You'll Do:Tame the terrain with mowing, weed whacking, edging, and trimming to keep our lawns and landscapes healthy and sharp.Maintain flower beds, walkways, and parking areas by removing weeds, overgrowth, and debris.Operate and maintain landscaping equipment like trimmers, blowers, mowers, and more.Monitor grass health, apply fertilizer or pest control, and support seasonal lawn care efforts.Assist with spring/fall clean-up, mulching, light snow removal, and storm debris removal as needed.Identify hazards or areas needing repair and report them promptly.Pitch in with beautification projects, event setup, or small landscaping installations.Follow all safety procedures and participate in team meetings and trainings.What You Bring:Experience with outdoor grounds work, landscaping, or lawn care.Familiarity with small landscaping machinery and tools.A strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.Willingness to work early mornings and weekends in all types of weather.A valid driver's license and a "get-it-done" attitude.Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.Frequent bending, kneeling, walking, and use of power equipment.Comfortable working on uneven terrain and in changing outdoor weather conditions.Why You'll Love Working Here:Work Outside Every Day: Say goodbye to fluorescent lights—spend your shifts under the sun, surrounded by mountains and fresh air.Visible Impact: Your work helps create a beautiful, first-class experience for our guests and staff.Be Part of a Team: Join a crew that values hard work, reliability, and taking pride in what we do.Resort Perks: Enjoy employee discounts on lodging, food, skiing, waterpark access, and more.Ready to whack weeds and make a visible difference?
