Journey Behavioral Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor for a full-time remote position. This role is vital in providing exceptional outpatient mental health services to individuals in Stockton, California, and beyond. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Effectively manage a caseload of clients, establishing rapport while adhering to professional ethics and maintaining appropriate boundaries. \n
- Conduct regular therapy sessions to assess client progress, discussing issues of stability and scheduling follow-up appointments as necessary. \n
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans that are tailored to meet each client's specific needs and monitor their effectiveness continuously. \n
- Document client interactions thoroughly, including progress notes and any changes in treatment plans or client status. \n
- Perform intake assessments to evaluate new clients, determining eligibility and readiness for therapy. \n
- Meet the expectation of conducting a designated number of individual therapy sessions weekly, while also participating in regular supervisory meetings. \n
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients, participating in interdisciplinary team meetings. \n
- Maintain a growth-oriented mindset toward both personal development and client outcomes. \n
You will primarily work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing psychiatric challenges and those struggling with substance abuse. Your role will involve understanding the unique circumstances of each client and providing tailored therapeutic interventions that promote recovery and resilience.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s Degree in Professional Clinical Counseling is required. \n
- Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California. \n
- Ability to fulfill internal credentialing requirements within relevant clinical settings. \n
- A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or individuals with substance use disorders. \n
- Proficiency in the use of technology and basic computer skills, especially concerning electronic health records. \n

- Previous experience in conducting comprehensive assessments and formulating diagnoses. \n
- Experience delivering both individual and group therapy, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities. \n
