Minimum Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.
• AART Certification in Radiation Therapy.
• Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required.
• National licensure as specified by the client.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a radiation therapist, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Experience with Mosaiq EMR.
• Travelers must be greater than 50 miles from the facility as required by the client.
• Adherence to client dress expectations: steel grey scrubs; lab coat or non-fleece jacket optional; no artificial nails.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in departments with one or multiple treatment rooms.
• Familiarity with a patient flow where treatments are scheduled at frequent intervals (client notes indicate short patient intervals).

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 06:00–12:00.
• No weekends.
• No call.
• No floating.
• Position will operate with one treatment room initially, expanding to two treatment rooms within approximately two months.
• Patient throughput expectation: one treatment every approximately 15 minutes as noted by the client.
• Must discuss shift specifics with the director; flexibility is needed.

Impacting Patient Care

As a radiation therapist you will operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment. You will verify treatment plans and dosage with the oncology team, monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy, and document treatments to maintain accurate patient records. Your work will support coordinated oncologic care and patient safety.
