Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main and no current placement allowed at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main.

Additional Details:

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match the address on the driver’s license.

Driver’s license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.

Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Required Credentials: Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, with only 2 attempts allowed. Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; passing score of at least 80%, with only 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Core Competencies required; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, with only 2 attempts allowed. Cerner test-out and training checklist with signed attestation required.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates must have at least 6 months of employment separation to be considered for a travel position.

Unit Details: Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab. Assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures. Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary. Communicate patient condition to physicians before, during, and after procedures. Set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures.

Shift & Scheduling: All jobs with a 12 hour schedule have the option of a 36 or 48 hour work week.

5 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required
