Compensation Range: $47.85 - $67.04 per hour

Qualifications

Required:

  • Graduation from an accredited Nursing School
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

Preferred:

  • Strong verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and proven writing abilities
Certifications and Licenses
  • Current NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • ACLS certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire
  • Completion of 8 hours of continuing education annually in cerebrovascular disease
Scheduling Requirements
  • Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Every other weekend is mandatory; weekday schedule will vary based on departmental needs
  • Part-Time Position
Essential Functions

The Professional Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care in collaboration with the medical team, adhering to the New Jersey State Nurse Practice Act. This role involves implementing the hospital's mission and objectives through established policies and performance improvement initiatives. The nurse will provide individualized, age-appropriate care to patients within their assigned unit, utilizing an understanding of growth and development principles to assess and address each patient's specific needs.
