As a member of our team you'll enjoy excellent benefits, opportunities for growth, and an encouraging culture that supports work / life balance.Position Summary: The Quality Assurance Coordinator acts as a liaison throughout the production process to ensure compliance to all respective codes, company policies, and quality of the product(s).Duties / Responsibilities:Identifying service issues within the facilityAnalyzing root causes of service issuesRecommending improvements / corrections to mitigate future service issuesMaintain current master copy of all documents including supplier data, supplier audit reports, DAPIA, ECR's, record of changes, CEF forms, etc.Distribute materials (DAPIA updates, supplier data, product standards, etc.) with explanation of changes / additionsMaintenance of the on-line DAPIAInitiate ECR's for proposed changes or modifications of the DAPIA designs or floor plansFollow up with all paperwork distributions to assure changes are being made in accordance with distributed drawings and specificationsPerform a systematic, documented line inspection, in a 15-day rotation of CCI items, material installation, and observation of testing equipmentFollow up inspections of yard work and re-testingEnsure that the QA Administration – FTC Database is updated routinely and monitor for repetitive issuesDuring IPIA inspections, escort the IPIA throughout the plantAssist in the accurate and timely completion of HUD 302, Alternate Construction, and Energy Star reportsProvide QA and DAPIA training with team members as neededEnsure QA Administrative database for Training is updated timely and accuratelyMaintain testing certification(s) as requiredReport all quality control and IPIA findings, complete CEF as neededKeep the General Manager and Production Manager aware of problem areas and top three issuesAssist with maintaining QA information boardsOther duties as assigned.Qualifications:High school diploma / GED or equivalent experience requiredConstruction industry experience preferredAbility to read and interpret architectural / engineering drawings and specificationsAbility to take a proactive approach to qualityWorking knowledge of facility machines, tools, and equipmentAbility to track and report on quality issuesAbility to communicate efficiently and effectively with all team members at all levels within the facilitySolid understanding of construction trades and quality practices, codes, regulations, etc.Why Clayton?Full-time team members have the flexibility to create their own health, dental, and vision benefits package.
