Sales Associate

Provide an excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls Achieve personal sales goals and help the store achieve its sales goals Provide DIY services, including battery installation, testing, and wiper installation Maintain store product and operational standards Perform inventory processes including truck put-away, shoot-outs, cycle counts, and back stock Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot Perform general stocking, including truck stocking and back stock Safely deliver parts to customers as needed Work predominantly inside, with occasional outdoor work installing batteries and wiper blades Requirements Entry-level sales position Good knowledge of store systems Basic automotive system knowledge Basic part knowledge Basic ability to source from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers In-depth knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes Fleet safety certification preferred Basic driving and navigation ability Ability to use delivery board system Ability to locate and stock parts Safety knowledge and skills Experience operating inventory systems and store equipment Parts and automotive system knowledge skills Experience operating POS and parts lookup systems Expertise in testing and diagnostic equipment for DIY service Speak and write English; Spanish is a plus Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals Ability to perform basic math accurately Ability to work assorted days, evenings, and weekends as needed 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment Ability to meet physical demands, including frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting up to 100 pounds Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in providing excellent customer service and achieving sales goals while maintaining store standards and inventory processes.
