Job Summary

Registered Nurse Long Term Care. This position provides nursing care for residents in a nursing home setting, including medication administration, wound care, catheter care, ostomy care, and supervision of support staff. The role serves residents with chronic and neurological conditions while supporting safe, organized daily operations.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Registered nursing license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; medication administration skills; supervisory skills; self-motivated approach to patient care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous nursing home experience.
• Schedule: Day shifts with 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week; 8-hour shifts may also be available. Block scheduling may be available based on operational needs. Weekend and holiday coverage is required every other occurrence.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include medication administration, wound care, Foley catheter care, ostomy care, and supervision of certified nursing assistants and trained medication aides. The position provides care for approximately 20 residents on day and evening shifts or up to 40 residents on overnight shifts, supported by two to three certified nursing assistants. Orientation shifts are provided as needed.
