Dental Hygienist

Dental Care at Belmont is looking for a friendly, collaborative dental hygienist to join our team!

As a clinical provider and patient advocate, you'll be given all the resources you need to provide exceptional care, while expanding your clinical skillset. You'll work in an environment that encourages full clinical autonomy, backed by the ability to tap into a hygiene mentor program.

Schedule:

• Monday 7:30am-5:00pm
• Wednesday 7:30am-5:00pm
• Friday 7:30am-5:00pm

Note: This position has opportunity to become full-time, 4 days/week as schedule builds out.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license in Florida and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Local Anesthesia Certification is required
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience:

• 2-3 years of prior hygiene experience preferred
• Experience using Dentrix, Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
