Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily maintenance of plant equipment. These duties include pipe fitting, welding, bolt torquing and tensioning, operating various types of mobile equipment, and general maintenance. The incumbent must be willing to work overtime and take call outs.

The incumbent will work 4 ten hour days, Monday through Thursday, with some overtime and call outs. The company will offer state of the art training to the level of Fully Qualified Maintenance Technician through practical on the job and offsite training.

Job Responsibilities:

This is a safety sensitive position that is accountable for providing technical support to Engineering, Operations and Maintenance for the plants electrical and instrumentation systems and to provide design input for projects.

Provides state certification welding competency in carbon steel and stainless-steel welding. Demonstrates competency in fabrication of piping from ISO drawings and field fit. Operate torquing and tensioning equipment using hand and hydraulic equipment. Pull exchangers and work in vessels. Operate mobile equipment to include forklifts, sky-tracks, skid steers, cranes, front end loaders. Performs safe rigging and lifting tasks. Performing general maintenance. Pouring concrete, excavations, painting, and etc. Some physical capabilities include climbing ladders and stairs, wearing safety harnesses, confined spaces and breathing air.

Internal Controls:

• The incumbent will need to follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Be able to read and follow weld procedures and torquing procedures.
• Employee growth and development are key to success therefore we will provide training on the equipment at our facility.

Successful Incumbents will have:
