Answer the phone using the storage value phrase, in a timely and professional manner Help at the counter or on the lot assisting customers and coworkers when needed Other duties as assigned Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University Requirements Valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain a good driving record Basic wiring and hand/power tool experience Work 6 days a week, 40 hours Must show up in proper attire. U-Haul provided shirts, pants- black or brown in color, shoes- black or brown in color High School Diploma or equivalent Willingness to learn Punctual Willingness to take on multiple tasks The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritating chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields. Physical Demands The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
